Settled in 1862 during the Gold Rush, Littleton grew during the 1950s thanks to the production of aerospace products. The town is located nine miles to the south of downtown Denver, and it’s considered a top spot for retirement. Part of three counties, Littleton is the 20th most populous city in Colorado, with over 45,000 residents.
For a day in town, Littleton Museum should be your first stop. In this place near Ketring Lake, you’ll learn about the city’s history and even see farm replicas. Also, find the time to head over to the Littleton Depot Art Gallery, where you’ll find fine pieces of local art.
SeaQuest Littleton has many species and even rescued animals if you want to gaze at aquatic life. Littleton Golf and Tennis Center has 18 holes, lessons, and restaurants for a fun time on the green. However, if Tennis is your thing, it also has six indoor tennis courts.
